How to Avoid Overdischarge of Shengyang Battery in UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply
Users of UPS power supply should know that to avoid overdischarge of Shengyang ups batteries, besides avoiding damage of Shengyang batteries, it can also better delay battery life. How can UPS batteries avoid overdischarge?
We recommend that customers, if they encounter Shengyang UPS battery overdischarge, can first use high current charger repair look, perhaps can recharge part of the capacity. Up batteries are not allowed to have a voltage of less than 1V per cell after discharge, and 6V for 12V batteries. If the customer's battery voltage is below this value, the battery can only be replaced.
In use, if UPS power supply is idle, disconnect the connected batteries. Otherwise, the connected batteries will be damaged by overdischarge in a few days to a week. Therefore, when UPS is idle, disconnect the connected batteries. Full-charged UPS batteries must be recharged after about six months without any load to avoid battery damage. The capacity and life of UPS battery will be completely restored by recharging within 72 hours after discharge. Batteries discharged with load to low-current state must be recharged within 72 hours after discharge to avoid battery damage. If Shengyang battery is not recharged for a long time after discharge, it will lead to the oxidation of the plate, that is, a large number of crystals or solidified lead sulfate remain on the metal plate of the battery. The common charging method is difficult or unable to re-decompose lead sulfate, which will lead to premature damage of the battery.
